At the Woodbourne Forest & Wildlife Preserve, open fields, wildflower meadows, winding creeks, mossy bogs and historic stone walls complete a scene that invites and inspires artists from far and wide. Hiking trails traverse the property, so visitors can have a chance to experience the diversity of life found throughout the preserve. Trail maintenance is needed during the spring season to make sure visitors will continue to be able to enjoy all there is to see. The Nature Conservancy and Woodbourne Preserve Stewardship Committee request your volunteer assistance to help us clear and reblaze the trails. Bring your rakes, loppers and work gloves and join us. Extra supplies and equipment will be provided. You will also want to bring some water and wear sturdy boots/shoes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy. This is a great chance to meet some great people and enjoy a beautiful preserve in the heart of the Endless Mountains.
