Eagles Mere Conservancy

The Eagles Mere Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that promotes preservation, education, and recreation in the Eagles Mere Historic District. They own 373 acres of land and 3 miles of hiking trails, which connect to other Eagles Mere trails and the nearby Loyalsock State Forest. A trail map is available online.

The conservancy’s headquarters is located at the Conservancy Cabin near the Eagles Mere Outlet Pond off of Route 42. The cabin, which dates back to 1734, serves as an education center with summer programs for all ages.
