Endless Mountains Trail

The Endless Mountains Trail is a 10-mile rail trail managed by the Rail-Trail Council of NEPA. It is considered one of the first rail trails in the nation.

The Endless Mountains Trail travels from Montrose to Alford. It starts on Locust Avenue in Montrose Borough and crosses Grow Avenue near the Pump n Pantry. The trail continues parallel to Route 706 through Bridgewater Township. At Heart Lake, it turns south and follows Martins Creek and Route 11 toward Alford.

The trail is ideal for walking, hiking, running, and cycling. Please note, some parts of the trail are rough and require a mountain bike.
