capture the beauty at breathtaking overlooks and vistas.
Canyon Vista
View the Loyalsock Creek Gorge and Worlds End State Park from this vantage point. Follow signs to reach the vista from Double Run Road (SR 3009).
High Knob Overlook
An outstanding view. You can see teh mountain tops of seven counties. Scenery is unforgettable during the June Mountain Laurel bloom and the fall foliage season, late September to mid-October. Take High Knob Road from Double Run Road or Dry Run Road from Rte. 87 south of Hillsgrove.
Lambs Vista
View sunrise on the Towanda Creek watershed. Above the village of Canton. Open for day use only, from Memorial Day to Thanksgiving. Take Upper Mountain Road from Rte. 14 in Canton. Go to the top; turn right on Lambs Park Road, go 1/4-mile then turn left into the woods.
Marie Antoinette Lookout
Get a bird's-eye view of the site where French refugees built a colony in teh late 1700s. Beautiful scenic view of endless mountains and the Susquehanna River. Rte. 6, three-miles west of Wyalusing.
Round Top Park
A 500-acre park with views of the valley and Susquehanna River. A gret place to see fall foliage. From Rte. 220 at Greens Landing, take Wolcott Hollow Raod to Round Top Road, turn right 1 1/2-miles.
Wrights View
A great spot to view the sunrise. Easy to get to. From Rte. 220, south of Laporte, take old Rte. 220 to the pull off.
Wyalusing Rocks
Once used by the Iroquois as a signaling point; 500-feet above the Susquehanna River. Located just west of Wyalusing on Rte. 6.
