Wyoming County Players

602 Hunter Highway, Suite 20, Tunkhannock
Wyoming County
Hi! We're Ron and Kim Whipple, founders of the community theater group, The Wyoming County Players.
Our goal is to educate, entertain and encourage the performing arts in our community.
We're happy to take part in our community's Founder's Day and Christmas in our Hometown. We are one of the busiest little theaters in the country and we love every minute of it!
Plans are now underway to build a performance theater that the Players can call home. We hope to encourage others in the community to take part in producing and performing at our new "Starlite Playhouse" as well.
We'll keep you updated on our exciting plans as they happen!

The Wyoming County Players are a community theater affiliated with the Whipple Performing Arts Studio. The Players present several plays throughout the year ranging from murder mysteries to comedies. The Wyoming County Players are located at the Whipple Performing Arts Studio behind the Cross Country Complex. The Players are always looking for more actors interested in community theatre!
By having a community theater located in a small town, the Wyoming County Players reach out to entertain children, teens and adults. Our mission is to bring more cultural and entertaining events into Wyoming County.
With our mission in mind, this year we will begin plans for our own performing space- The Star-Lite Playhouse. Once built, playhouse will be a place the Wyoming County Players can call home. It will attract more performers and tourists to the ever growing arts community in Wyoming County.
