Admission Price: Free

Homeschool and cyber families are welcome to join us for an afternoon to learn about rock layers and how scientists use them to learn more about the land and its history. We’ll talk about the three types of rocks, how mountains form, and then have fun with investigative activities that involve studying candy bar “rock cuts” and taking core samples of playdough plateaus. Activities involve reading and writing and are geared toward upper elementary and beyond.

Space is limited, so please only register the names of the children attending to make sure we have an accurate count for supplies. Registration closes the evening of April 27th.
