A memorial to remember Montrose resident Danny Crisman, who perished in the September 11, 20101 attacks on the World Trade Center. The park honors Danny and all the others who lost their lives that day.
The Memorial Park was started by Debbie Crisman of South Montrose in memory of her son Danny who worked for Marsh & McLennan and who perished in the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001. The park is intended to honor and remember not only Danny, but so many others from that fateful day as well as the thousands of members of the military who have made the ultimate sacrifice since then.
In addition to managing the Daniel Crisman Memorial College Scholarship to assist graduates of Montrose Area High School, The Community Foundation also administers a permanent charitable endowment to assisst with the perpetual care of the Memorial Park so that it will forever remain a place of peaceful solace and reflection for many generations to come.
