Oldest House – Laceyville Area Historical Society

The oldest frame dwelling still standing in the northeaster PA counties of Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming. Built in the 1780s.

Three floors of history, maps, books, genealogy, and period clothing. Although primarily  as a family home, the structure also served as a wayside stop for travelers of the Susquehanna River.

Many features of the original house are still present, and can be seen on guided tours that are offered each weekend, May through early September or by appointment.
