Front entrance of Church Street Marketplace, home of Slanted Art, The Reimel Centre, and other local businesses.

Artists Walter Ball, oils and acrylics, and Marina King, polymer clay, will exhibit works inspired by nature.

Walter will be unveiling “March Snow Squall,” a recent work in acrylic. Walter was heading home from his brother’s and was fortunate to see this scene.

“I love the out of doors and such scenes excite me. When I was painting March Snow Squall, I was thrilled to remember the distant mountains fading out, feeling the gusts of chilling wind and watching the blowing snow. This painting is like telling a story without words.”

Marina will display her latest sculpture, “Curious Case Found in Clarks Summit,” a fairy house sculpted of polymer clay with glass and resin embellishments. The house sits atop a rocky crag adorned with crystal shards. There is a rope and wood stairway leading up to it. Will you visit?

Walter and Marina will both be at the opening reception and look forward to meeting you. They will have many new pieces for you to enjoy, all inspired by the beauty and splendor around us.

Light refreshments provided.
