“Why is there an apple tree in my yard?” This question has been frequently asked at the Eagles Mere Museum in the past couple years. Did we find the answer? Join us at the museum on September 22 at 1:30 to explore our extensive apple heritage.

The museum’s speaker, Joan Werner, will be followed by Rob Antanitis, a third-generation apple farmer. Rob previously owned Colonel Ricketts Hard Cider in Benton. He will share some history of apple cider, followed by a tasting from his Lewisburg-owned company, Civil War Cider.

The cost is $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Seating is limited, so please call 570-525-3155 or email us at emmuseuminfo@gmail.com to make a reservation. A confirmation is needed.
