The Endless Mountains Heritage Region (EMHR) and Endless Mountain Outfitters (EMO) will take participants on a 11-mile river paddle on October 7, 2023, from the Bradford County Outboard Motor Club back to EMO in Sugar Run. Paddlers will be shuttled to the Bradford County Outboard Motor Club for a safety brief and a short presentation, then launch downriver. During lunch on the river, paddlers will receive a presentation about historic sites along the route, such as Standing Stone, the Wyalusing Rocks, and Homets Ferry. The paddle will lead back to EMO where a barbecue dinner and hard cider tasting will be held, along with live entertainment.

This event will benefit conservation projects at Bradford County Parks. County Planning Director and EMHR board member, Matt Williams, will give a presentation about the parks while Jeremy Leaidicker of Penn State Extension will talk about the projects they are performing at the parks and other educational programming his organization offers in the region.

Registration is $55 for those bringing their own watercraft, $95 for those renting a single kayak, or $115 for those renting a tandem kayak/canoe. This registration fee includes your donation to Bradford County Parks, insurance, the dinner, tasting and educational programming. For each paddle, participants are asked to bring appropriate footwear and clothing, lunch/snacks, sunscreen, and a supply of water.
