There is nothing like fresh picked greens and tomatoes for a summer salad. We plant herbs and vegetables in raised beds in the organic garden, with flowers and shrubs surrounding the area. Penn State Master Gardeners Stacey Kalechitz, Kate Mahar, and Concetta Schirra will share some tips about starting and cultivating gardens. Come with questions and gloves, as this is an interactive, hands-on program. All participants will receive some free seeds. Children are welcome! Fee: $10; members, $5; kids, free.
