The Susquehanna County Historical Society will host “Haunted History: A Paranormal Investigation” on Saturday, October 5th from 6-10 pm. This event is a unique fundraiser for the Society and promises to lead to interesting conversation about both local history and paranormal phenomena. Incorporated in the evening will be stories of local people who had influence on the area or the Society. The investigation will include areas throughout the building.

The event will be conducted by Empirical Paranormal, a paranormal investigation group based in the Southern Tier of N.Y., founded in April 2004. The team members are Community Paranormal Specialists who provide information and have procedures in place to assist, help, and resolve issues and problems for their clients. The team focuses on searching for proof of spirit and intervention while using the latest technology. Empirical Paranormal encourages learning about the history of each location and does fundraising whenever possible. Their initial visit here was intriguing and thought provoking.
