Trees don’t seem to be doing much in the winter, but they are actually preparing for a whole new year of growth. Tree buds often go unnoticed, but in this homeschool program we will stop to take a closer look at some of the buds on trees at the park. Students will practice their observation skills by completing a nature journaling task and having discussion about what they see. Then we’ll end our program with some tree-themed artwork. This program will be totally outdoors, so please dress for the weather!
