
As glimpses of the Spring season appear in the Endless Mountains region, gardeners are anxious to get their hands in the dirt! Pollinator-friendly flowers, culinary herbs, and family-favorite vegetable seedlings are just a few examples of what gardeners will discover at the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Susquehanna County’s annual Spring Plant Sale.
Save the date on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and visit the Penn State Extension office, at 88 Chenango St, Montrose, to browse and shop. Selecting plants and flowers of different heights, colors, and bloom times can add interest, diversity, and enjoyment to home landscapes. The Spring Plant Sale offers a selection of annual and perennial flowers for sun and shade, a variety of vegetable and herb seedlings, colorful combinations of blooms in hanging baskets, and assorted houseplants. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your home gardening questions. Penn State Extension soil test kits will also be available for purchase. The Spring Plant Sale accepts cash, checks, and credit card payments and is held rain or shine.
