Come join this trip from the Wysox Boat Launch to the French Azilum Historical Site and stay for some of the festivities after!

We will be meeting at the French Azilum Historical Site (if you are bringing your own kayak please show up 10-15 min early so we can load your kayak). On Sunday meet at 9 am at the welcome center. Then we will shuttle to Wysox where you will launch and paddle 7 miles back to the take out at French Asylum

Info on the Susquehanna Summer Solstice Fest: The Susquehanna Solstice Fest is a unique celebration of the arts coupled with environmental advocacy and an appreciation for the region’s remarkable history. This event is to be held on the beautiful and historic river plain at French Azilum (between Towanda and Wyalusing, in Bradford County, PA.) The weekend will combine a plein air art event, weekend-long music performances, open jams and lessons, dance instruction and social dancing, a river sojourn with a kayak and canoe trip, children’s art activities, presentations by historians and environmental experts, and tours of the historic site and grounds.

Please note, the charge for the kayaking trip does not include festival admission.
