Do you hear what I hear? Evan Mann and Kelly Finan will teach us how to train our ears to hear the music of local songbirds and recognize them by voice. June is an active time for mating, nesting, and raising broods of little ones. We will explore different types of bird songs and strategies for identifying common birds using the sounds that they make. An indoor presentation is followed by a walk to hear the songs of these musical creatures. Bring binoculars and field guides if you have them. All levels of birders welcome.
