One of the signs of spring is the return of frog song. A vernal pool is a type of wetland habitat that supports amphibian populations. Learn more about this piece of the ecosystem, how it supports amphibian life, and spend time exploring the edges of a pool for signs of spring. This program is open to all ages. We will meet by Riverside Barn and caravan to a different location in the park. This program involves going off trail into wet and muddy areas with brush, so wearing long pants and long sleeves as well as waterproof boots is recommended.
