Have you ever thought about how the colors on Earth change how hot or cold it is? Students will spend time exploring the temperature of different objects outside and making comparisons. We’ll talk about what causes color and use what we learn to discuss why there are temperature differences between colors. We’ll also talk about other reasons for temperature differences and what it means about the choices we make as humans.
Activities will involve recording data in a table and working as a group to calculate an average, as well as creating a map.
