Press Release Submitted by Jodi Mongi

Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th, Eagles Mere Historic Village will once again host its Annual Arts and Crafts Festival.

This year’s event marks the 55th year of the festival, continuing a long-standing tradition of celebrating handmade artistry, craftsmanship and community spirit.

This beloved public event will take place, rain or shine, on the town’s Village Green from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission on Saturday is $8 for adults and free for children under 12 and on Sunday, $5 for adults and free for children under 12. All proceeds will benefit nonprofit organizations in Eagles Mere that support community programs throughout the year.

Guests at the festival will find a wide variety of art, including handcrafted jewelry, woodwork, felt, fiber, leather, glass pieces, photography and pottery. Attendees can browse these unique finds while enjoying good food and live music throughout the festival.

The Village Shops and local restaurants will be open as well, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, baked goods, specialty coffees and frozen treats. The real estate office will also be open for visitors interested in making Eagles Mere their home or vacation retreat.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience one of the region’s most cherished summer traditions.

Please be aware of a detour that will affect attendees coming from the South: go north on PA RT 220 to Laporte and then take PA RT 42 to Eagles Mere.
