Downtown Dushore will celebrate a day of holiday fun on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The annual Christmas in Dushore event features family activities, local shopping, and festive treats throughout town. The evening concludes with a tree lighting and the spectacular Parade of Lights.

New for 2024, Santa’s reindeer will meet and greet visitors behind Dushore Hardware. Event organizers have also brought back the popular Christmas tree decorating contest at St. Basil’s Hall.

Event co-chairs Hiliary Styer and Haley Franklin are especially excited to be organizing this year’s event because they grew up in Dushore.

“Christmas in a small town is where the magic shines brightest,” said Styer. “Where twinkling lights line familiar streets, every smile feels like home, and the warmth of sharing this season feels like a cozy blanket.”
