such perfect patterns? Join us to explore the geometry of arachnids! We’ll learn the secrets behind their silky
masterpieces and craft our own decorative webs. Once finished, you can hang your creation in a tree and watch it

7/13 Monday, 10:00 am-11:15 am. CREATURE FEATURE: Macroinvertebrates! Join Sara Schlessinger from the Northcentral PA Conservancy and become a freshwater scientist for the day! You’ll get hands-on with real macroinvertebrates, sort them into categories, and use your detective skills to grade the water quality. Plus, we’ll play a matching game and go on a real-life bug hunt at the Outlet Pond! Meet at the Cabin, led by Meredith.

PA Game Warden Poleshuk brings the woods to life with an incredible collection of hands-on wildlife artifacts. After
learning about our local foxes, rabbits, deer, bears, and more, kids will channel their inspiration into a guided wildlife silhouette painting to take home. Meet at the Cabin, led by Meredith.
7/27 Monday, 10:00 am-11:15 am. CREATURE FEATURE: Owls! How does an owl fly so silently? Discover the superpowers of raptors as we examine real skulls, wings, and talons with Bradford County Conservation District. This hands-on session lets you hear wild calls and explore the incredible biology of these hunters. Afterward, kids will create their own owl-themed art project! Meet at the Cabin, led by Meredith.
8/3 Monday, 10:00 am-11:15 am. CREATURE FEATURE: Freddy the Fish (All ages): Join our special guests from the Sullivan County Conservation District to follow Freddy the Fish on his journey through our local streams! This interactive activity shows how pollution travels through our waterways and affects the trout that live there. Come learn how we can all work together to keep Freddy’s home clean and cold. 8/10 Monday, 10:00 am-11:15 am. CREATURE FEATURE: Carl the Earthworm (All ages): Dig into the world of everyone’s favorite underground architect! Join us for a reading of Carl and the Meaning of Life, followed by a lesson on how worms keep our soil healthy. To wrap things up, we’ll create edible dirt cups with chocolate “soil” and gummy worms sponsored by our friends at the Sullivan County Conservation District! Meet at the Cabin, led by Meredith.
