Gelli printing is a form of printmaking in which acrylic paints are applied to flexible printing plates of gelatin using a brayer. In this fun and playful introductory workshop, you will use simple objects such as leaves, feathers, and weeds to create beautiful botanical monoprints. The class will discuss color, composition, and how certain botanicals show up on the gelli plate. Gelli printing is addicting and you will leave inspired, with many colorful, one-of-a-kind prints.
