Come celebrate the first day of August in Gaelic fashion.
Considered a time of celebration of the first harvest, one myth goes that this holiday was made as a tribute to the deity Lugh’s foster mother, Tailtiu, who died of exhaustion from preparing Ireland’s plains for agriculture.
We’ll enjoy homemade bread, crafts, athletic competition, and a short walk to berry bushes.

Meet in the Spruce Grove Picnic Area.
