Happening every Wednesday in July 2026, students ages 8 to 12 are invited to embark on a guided outdoor experience at Vosburg Neck State Park. Improve focus and reduce stress while learning emotional resilience and mindfulness techniques during a fun, healthy outdoor activity.
Mental Health Coping Skills: Activities will be led by trained facilitators to teach managing emotions, anxiety, and stress.
Healthy Habits: Foster a lifelong love of physical activity and emotional well-being.
Supplies: Each participant will receive a backpack with supplies specific to that day’s activity, such as a yoga mat, journal, nature tools, or art supplies!
Guided Hikes: Each hike will feature a different trail at the park and be led by the park educator, highlighting flora and fauna discovered along the way.
