Join local artist Abby Machamer for a hands-on workshop in mosaic art! This workshop will focus on the basics of creating a mosaic, using stained glass and other materials in crafting a unique creation. You will be guided step-by-step through the process. Materials are provided, and you are welcome to bring additional pieces you may want to include in your design.
Students will be notified when all pieces are available for pick up, approximately 10 days following the date of the class.
About Abby Machamer
Nature offers endless beauty, the details of which inspire this artist. Abby works with many ideas captured from everyday travels on back roads and ocean fronts, in all seasons. The images become part of her work. She is a natural artist, self-trained, and continuously evolving.
Abby’s 3-D contemporary glass mosaic artwork is unique. Not only is texture a strong component of each piece but her consideration of glass transparency plays an important role as sunlight transitions from sunrise to sunset. Abby’s art style allows her a flexible platform in the contemporary style of working with stained glass.
Abby has won multiple awards for her work, the latest being from The Society of Bluffton Artists, SC 2025.
