When you think of pollinators, your first thought may be honeybees, but there are many other types of bees and insects that are important pollinators. Join us to sample some local honey, as well as violet jelly made from flowers foraged at the park, as we celebrate the relationship between plants and pollinators.

We’ll hear from Melissa Wright, Penn State Extension’s Master Gardener Coordinator for Wyoming County, as she shares more with us about the relationship between pollinators and native plants.

There will be an opportunity for households to take home a native plant plug or native seed mix that can help convert lawn to meadow.

Please register by June 26th so we know how many guests to anticipate.
