Join Pattie Rogers and Paul Cassidy for a powerful, story-driven presentation about their Senior Citizens for Senior Dogs Forever Foster Program, serving our community right here in Tunkhannock.
This unique program pairs senior dogs with senior citizens, providing companionship, purpose, and dignity at both ends of the leash while the sanctuary covers all veterinary care, food, and ongoing support. Through real-life rescue stories, including two special guest dogs in attendance, attendees will learn how senior dogs, often the first to be euthanized in overcrowded shelters, can thrive in loving homes, and how seniors in our community can benefit from meaningful companionship without financial burden.
This presentation will explore the program’s impact, the journey from rescue to placement, and how community members can get involved through fostering, volunteering, or supporting the mission. A Q&A will follow the presentation.
