The Eagles Mere Inn is proud to announce its sponsorship of the official Sullivan County bell as part of the statewide “250PA Bells Across PA” initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026.
This significant project brings communities together to celebrate the anniversary of our nation’s founding. Each of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties will feature a unique, sponsored bell that serves as both a public art installation and symbol of local history and pride.
The Sullivan County bell will be transformed into a piece of public art, on display at the Inn, by talented local artist, Robert Heinrich Jr. His work will capture the spirit and heritage of Sullivan County, making the bell a remarkable landmark for years to come
The community is invited to attend the official unveiling ceremony for the Sullivan County bell at the Eagles Mere Inn (29 Mary Ave, Eagles Mere, PA, 17731) on Friday, December 19th, at 10:30am.
This event is a chance for residents to gather, show their support for local arts, and join the excitement for the upcoming 250th anniversary celebration. We hope to see you there!
