The Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association presents Founder’s Day on Saturday, June 21, 2025. This annual street festival will feature more than 150 art and food vendors along Tioga Street, Warren Street, and surrounding areas. There will also be family-friendly activities, live music, and entertainment all day long.

Iron Horse Ramble: Train Ride to Tunkhannock Founder’s Day

The Reading & Northern Railroad is offering a train excursion from their Nesquehoning Campus to downtown Tunkhannock for Founder’s Day. Passengers will ride the mighty T-1 steam locomotive #2102 and arrive in Tunkhannock around lunchtime. They will have time to explore the town and festival before returning to Nesquehoning in the evening. View our calendar page for more information.
