Join a guided paddle along the Susquehanna River from Wysox Boat Launch to the French Azilum Historical Site. Meet at the French Azilum welcome center for a shuttle to the launch, then paddle approximately seven miles back to the takeout while hearing stories about the area’s history and Standing Stone. Enjoy scenic river views and a chance to learn local history as part of a special celebration for America’s 250th birthday.
We will meet at the French Azilum Historical Site welcome center at 10:00 am on Sunday.
Shuttle to Wysox Boat Launch.
Launch at Wysox and paddle approximately 7.5 miles back to the French Azilum takeout.
