Husband and wife Sean Farley and Rachel Buedel purchased the property in August 2025. They spent countless hours creating gravel RV pads, remodeling the cabins, and adding new amenities, such as a renovated, modern bathhouse and upgraded Wi-Fi. They started welcoming their first guests this May.
“We love the Sullivan County area, so the location was the first attraction for us,” explained Farley. “The property had a great infrastructure, with water and electricity at all RV sites, and sewage hookups for most of them. While we are a small property, we have worked to make our sites as spacious as possible for our campers to enjoy.”
The campground offers RV sites, tent sites, rustic cabin rentals, and fully equipped RV rentals just five minutes away from Worlds End State Park. Pet-friendly sites are available.
During the grand opening, visitors toured the property, listened to live music, and enjoyed dinner from Bare Bones Bar B Q. The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Looking ahead, Best Campground Near Me plans to create a visitors center and retail store inside of the main building. The space will provide area information, camping supplies, and locally made products 24/7. A covered structure, such as a pavilion, will be added to host special activities and live music. Buedel, who has experience as a greenhouse operator and landscape designer, also plans to add thoughtful landscaping and gardens to the property.
“This is just our humble beginnings. There are many more exciting ideas, projects on the horizon, and constant property upkeep that we need to balance with marketing efforts to generate revenue,” said Farley. “We hope to see a steady uptick in reservations for the summer, and to close out the year with a busy fall cycle. It’s such a fantastic time of year for camping and enjoying the foliage and all of the festivities.”
