Welcome to the second annual Tunkhannock Christmas Decorating Contest sponsored by The Wright Center for Community Health! The contest is open to residences and businesses in Tunkhannock. The public will vote for the top three homes and top three businesses. There will also be an “Endless Mountains’ Choice” award selected by Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau staff to recognize a property with a particularly unique backstory or creative design.
Winners from each category will receive a commemorative prize (and bragging rights). Need some inspiration? View last year’s photo album and winners.
Ready to show your Christmas spirit? Here’s how it works:
- Register using the form below. Sign-ups are open October 1-31, 2025. If you missed the deadline, please call us at 570-836-5431.
- The Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau will create a map of all participating locations. The map will emphasize that all residences are private, and viewers should admire from the curb or sidewalk.
- Contact name, phone number, and email are for office use only. They will not be printed.
- All participants will receive a numbered yard sign for the voting process. We will call or email you when your sign is available for pickup at the Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau office (5405 SR 6, Tunkhannock).
- By participating, entrants agree to allow photos and videos of their decorations to be used for promotional purposes by EMVB.
- Voting will take place December 1 through December 16. Please have your decorations ready by December 1 for everyone to enjoy.
- Winners will be announced on December 18.
