The Simpler Thyme is a tradition that opens the season for tours and events. It offers plants and herbs that have been donated from local gardens or purchased by the House from nearby greenhouses. Come browse the house, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, buy a plant, and make a new friend.

Plants from your garden can be donated or traded.

New or rearranged displays to share with visitors the history of Laceyville and the surrounding area. The Oldest House has three floors of collections -photos, furnishings, genealogies, and period clothing. The House is set up so that you can wander and do a self-guided tour or ask a nearby tour guide the questions that pop up.
