Join local art educator and friend of Vosburg Neck State Park, Ali Wilson, as we explore nature through an artistic eye. Each session, participants will take home two mini watercolor paintings inspired by the monthly theme.

Participants should bring their own lawn chairs. All other materials are provided by the Friends of Vosburg Neck State Park. Each program is free of charge, but cash donations to the friends group are appreciated. Advanced registration is required. Please register for each date you plan to attend. Open to ages 12 and up.​ These locations and themes assume good weather. We will use the barn as a backup location and participants will be notified of location changes the day of the event.

Thursday, June 20, 2pm: The Garden
In honor of Pollinator Week, spend time making observations of the interactions between pollinators and flowers in the garden beds just outside Riverside Barn.

Thursday, July 18, 2pm: The Pines
Join us in the peaceful pine plantation as we enjoy some iced white pine tea and study the trees around us.

Wednesday, August 14, 2pm: The River
Sit along the river bank and learn more about the Susquehanna River as you sketch the surrounding landscape.
