Tim O’Brien will share stories of his work in the past tumultuous decade and his thoughts about generative AI and the artist. Tim is an award-winning illustrator, whose works have appeared numerous times on the cover of TIME magazine and many other periodicals, as well as creating covers for most major book publishers including the Hunger Games series. Tim has also illustrated over a dozen US postage stamps. His previous Brain/Food talk was 15 years ago and was very well received.
Tim is the second longest serving president of The Society of Illustrators, serving from 2015-2022, and is an Adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute. He has been an educator for over 35 years. Tim has been spending summers in Eagles Mere since a date with Elizabeth Parisi in August of 1991. One will often see him running around the lake.
