Over three mornings, these two masters of the ceramic arts will guide you through the design and creation of a mosaic wall piece suitable for hanging. The first day begins with a PowerPoint exploration of mosaic art to inspire your creative spirit, after which you will develop an original design to transfer to the 16” x 16” lightweight board surface. On day two you will select and attach colored glass tile, mirror, and ceramic tile to the surface using mastic. On the final day you will learn to grout, clean, and seal your work. The class will conclude with a friendly discussion and critique.

Deb and David Stabley met in art school and have pursued successful careers as working ceramic artists and arts educators in the Endless Mountains since earning their masters degrees from University of Nebraska in 1984.
