Are you interested in growing mushrooms? Come learn and create with a mushroom grower – Tim Owen of Growen Food. Tim has been cultivating mushrooms as part of his small-scale produce farm since 2017. His passion for mushroom growing is contagious! If you have attended previous classes with Growen inoculation shiitake, this class will offer new information with a focus on different mushrooms. Lions Mane and Oyster mushrooms will be featured. Tim is also happy to take Q & A about other forms of mushroom cultivation as well as the wild mushrooms growing in our local region. This hands-on class takes place rain or shine under the pavilion. The ticket fee includes all materials to create a log of your own, including spawn, log, wax, and tools.
