Join the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Wyoming County during National Pollinator Week to celebrate the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem and agriculture.

On Saturday, June 22, at 1:00pm, the Master Gardeners will share information on creating pollinator-friendly gardens at Vosburg Neck State Park in Tunkhannock. Learn why pollinators are important, the benefit of native plants to pollinators, and how to incorporate native plants and shrubs into home landscape designs. Take home garden design templates, native plant profiles, and complimentary pollinator-friendly flower seeds. Master Gardeners will be on hand to help answer your home gardening questions. This program is free, open to the public, and family-friendly; registration is not required. Vosburg Neck State Park is located at 470 Vosburg Road in Tunkhannock.
