Calling all runners, joggers, and walkers to Montrose to be one of the participants for this year’s annual Jingle Bell 5K.

December 5th at 9AM.

Those who register by November 1st receive a free shirt sporting the Jingle Bell 5K logo.

Whether you come as a participant or a spectator to cheer them on, plan to be there Saturday morning, December 5th to start the many festivities for Christmas in Montrose. A family-friendly event happening all weekend on December 4, 5, and 6th 2026.

Men, women and children are encouraged to start their Saturday off with a refreshing race.  The course will be the same as last year and will take participants through historic parts of Montrose, making this 5K not only fun but also soaking up the beauty of Montrose.

This much anticipated family friendly event has grown from 75 participants in 2018 to last year’s record of 686!

The race will be held snow or shine, so plan accordingly when choosing your clothing.  Dress for this year’s theme “Vintage Country Christmas” or in a festive holiday costume or in your favorite running outfit.  The costumes are a delight for the spectators as well as the participants.

One of our most asked questions over the years is “Are strollers welcome?” The answer is, “Yes they are”.

What brings racers back year after year? They love the event themed shirt given to those who sign-up before the cutoff date. Another favorite, the handmade medals. Of course, the participants love the cookies given at the end of the race. This year the cookies are provided by Barnwood Baking Company.

Below is registration information and two links where you can learn more about the 5K.
