Resources for Race Weekend

Welcome runners! You’re in for an exciting weekend on Miller Mountain, our newest state forestland and one of Tunkhannock’s most iconic landmarks. Locals love Miller for its epic climbs and stunning views.

Miller Mountain is just a few miles south of Tunkhannock, a historic little town by the Susquehanna River. With plenty of places to eat, things to do, and places to stay, it’s a perfect basecamp for race weekend.

Places to Stay

Comfort Inn & Suites in Tunkhannock is the host hotel for the Miller Mountain Trail Challenge. Fully remodeled in 2024, the hotel is just two and a half miles from the race start. Special rates are available for race weekend.

The White House on Warren, a vacation rental in downtown Tunkhannock, is also a great option for large families or groups. The historic home sleeps up to ten guests and is available to book on Airbnb and VRBO.
