In the Endless Mountains, our county fairs are preparing for a summer full of family fun. These annual events celebrate the region’s rich agricultural heritage and showcase the hard work of our local farmers. Not to mention, there’s no shortage of delicious food, fun rides, and live entertainment for all ages.
Troy Fair – July 21-26, 2025
Fair season kicks off with the 149th Troy Fair at Alparon Park. This year’s headlining act is ventriloquist and comedian Jeff Dunham, who will perform on July 23 as part of his international tour. Other grandstand shows will include truck and tractor pulls, bullride mania, and a demo derby. Free shows and other fun events will be held daily. New for 2025, Houghton Enterprises will provide rides and games. Rides are included in the pay-one-price gate admission.
Sullivan County Fair – August 27-31, 2025
The fun continues at the 173rd Annual Sullivan County Fair. Located in scenic Forksville, the fair features live music, local vendors, incredible food, and thrilling rides for the entire family. On August 30, Why Not Me will perform the greatest hits of Garth Brooks, Reba, and the Judds. A demolition derby, local music, a children’s magic show, and more round out the entertainment lineup.
