Sullivan County Historical Society’s Museum

The Sullivan County Historical Society’s Museum is comprised of four buildings and the Celestia property. The history of Sullivan County is in the form of artifacts compiled by subjects and arranged for easy access. There are 800 genealogies and as complete a listing of obituaries from the beginning of news print for Sullivan County people.

Personal tours can be scheduled or research upon request for a fee. The organization is 100% volunteers, and appointments are advised.

The main museum is located on Sullivan County Courthouse Square at the corner of Muncy and Meylert Streets.
