Loyalsock Foundation seeks to build The Summit: Center for Wellness in Laporte Township, Sullivan County. The Summit will be a multi-generational, regional wellness and community center with facilities for health, fitness, education, and outdoor recreation. The main building will house an indoor swimming pool, indoor walking track, weight room, cardio equipment, and community room.
The Summit Loop Trail is currently open to the public. The Summit Loop is a one-mile outdoor walking path with benches and chairs along the trail. Parking is available at the trail entrance on SR 42 just outside of Laporte (0.65 miles from the courthouse going towards Eagles Mere).
