Sonestown Covered Bridge.

The Sonestown Covered Bridge (also known as the Davidson Covered Bridge) is a Burr arch truss bridge that spans across Muncy Creek. It was built in 1850 by Sadler Rogers, a prominent local builder. The bridge originally provided access to a grist mill, and it is still in use today. In 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

At 110 feet long, the Sonestown Covered Bridge is the shortest of Sullivan County’s three covered bridges. Despite its size, it was withstood storm damage from flooding and hurricanes. The bridge is still in use today and can be found just off of Route 220.
