The Laporte Enhancement Committee is a non-profit auxiliary of the Laporte Volunteer Fire Company. They are a community-focused group of neighbors that promotes economic and social enhancement to the Laporte area. They have collaborated with other organizations and businesses to host annual events such as ice skating, open mic night, history walks, Market Day, a pumpkin festival, and more. These events help draw locals and tourists to the town of Laporte.
