Anthony Ferro, an internationally recognized visual artist and dancer, began painting in 2005. His work has appeared in solo and group shows in New York and Pennsylvania and is in many private collections in the United States and Europe. Guests can visit his studio and gallery at the Eagles Mere Historic Village.
As Anthony describes, “My artistic practice is an outward expression of an inner dance, the visual manifestations of the spontaneous fluidity that supports my daily life. I create drawings where wonder takes center stage, setting free the formal visual elements. Currently, watercolor, ink and acrylic are of special interest as I explore the limitations and possibilities of two-dimensional work. More often than not, the subject reveals itself through the pressure of medium against surface, an aliveness moving from the mind through the body to paper.”
