Rotary District 7410 is pleased to congratulate 67 high school students from Northeast PA and the Northern Tier for completing the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference held in June at Keystone College, La Plume, PA.

RYLA is a week-long summer program for high school students entering their junior year who exhibit leadership potential in their school and community. The conference offers young adults the opportunity to connect with peers while learning valuable leadership lessons through ice-breakers, team-building activities, motivational speakers, and hands-on workshops and activities.

The curriculum introduces participants to concepts and ideas that develop and strengthen personal assessment and goal setting; time management; communication; problem-solving and interpersonal relationships. The schedule is full of activities that physically, mentally, and emotionally engage the conferees to strengthen their relationship skills, build their confidence, and give them the tools they need to be leaders.
