Nicholson Women’s Club

The Nicholson Women’s Club serves the community by offering women socialization and involvement in activities supporting Nicholson and surrounding areas.

The club has a long history in the area. They began as a history club in 1891, transitioned to a book club, and ultimately became the Nicholson Women’s Club in 1915.

The club organizes the annual Nicholson Bridge Day every September. This popular festival highlights the history of railroading and the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct. They present a family day of fun, history, learning, and entertainment with vendors, food, children’s events, and more.
