
A Community Hub for Health and Wellness
Located along Route 6 in Tunkhannock, the Wyoming County Healthcare Center (WCHC) has transformed the former Tyler Hospital into a vibrant community hub dedicated to health, wellness, and connection. The facility brings together multiple healthcare partners offering primary care, mental health services, lab and imaging, dialysis, occupational health, and more—all under one roof.
Ongoing Programs
- Speaker Series: Educational health and wellness talks – second Tuesday of each month, 5–6 PM
- Cancer & Healing Support Group: second Wednesday of each month, 5–6 PM
- Java for Joes: Veterans’ coffee and conversation – first Thursday of each month, 10 AM–12 PM
Community Resources
Visitors and residents alike are welcome to use WCHC’s public computer lab, open Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, offering printing services and free broadband internet access.
Community Events
Throughout the year, WCHC hosts special gatherings such as a Wellness Fair and a Trunk-or-Treat. These free, family-friendly programs bring together healthcare providers, first responders, and local organizations to promote wellness and connection.
